BA Q&A with Machina Espresso

is an Edinburgh based coffee roaster. They also run coffee bars and distribute equipment & porcelain to cafes all over the world. Here’s a recent Q&A we had with Steve Glencross, its founder and managing director:

Q: How did you discover Bon Accord?

A: I used to drink it when I was a kid (in the 80’s!) but bumped into Karen at a food festival a few months back in East Lothian.

Q: What do you enjoy the most about working with Bon Accord?

A: It’s a great reminder of the innocent days when pop was pop, and people used to get fizzy juice delivered to their doors like milk.

Q: What’s your favourite flavour? Favourite way to drink/pair BA?

A: Rhubarb!

Q: Memories of Bon Accord growing up (if you grew up with it)?

A: It was one of those brands that were always in the local shops alongside Caramac, 54321, Texan bars and Kwenchy Cups!]]>
